Employee referral bonus program templates

Here are two templates for an employee referral bonus program, depending on the level of detail you want to provide:

Template 1: Simple Employee Referral Bonus Program This program encourages current employees to refer qualified candidates to the company, with the following rewards for successful referrals:

  • $[Amount] for referrals resulting in a new hire within [Time Frame]

  • Payment will be made after the new hire successfully completes [Time Period] of employment


To qualify for the bonus, the following conditions must be met:

  • The referred candidate must not be a current or former employee of the company

  • The referred candidate must be hired within [Time Frame] of the referral date

  • The referred candidate must complete [Time Period] of employment with the company


The program is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • The company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time and without notice
